Stories of Choice — Stories of Success.

Each Video Must:

  • Be on one of the following topics:
    • How educational choice made a difference in my life
    • Why I need access to educational choice options
  • Be based on personal stories and/or facts
  • Videos may only feature the entrant and/or the entrant’s family members, including parents, guardians and minor children
  • Videos must be under two minutes

  • This competition is open to students, guardians or alumni of existing choice programs (public school/open enrollment, charter, magnet, private school, virtual/blended, or homeschool), or a person who wants more educational choice in their state
  • Legal residents of one of the fifty states (or the District of Columbia)
  • At least 18 years of age or older. Parents or guardians can submit on behalf of minor children.

Technical Requirements:

  • Videos must be under two minutes
  • Videos can only include authorized content, including, without limitation, music, images, film clips and other intellectual property
  • Entries must be successfully uploaded by 11:59 PM EST on December 1, 2017

All entries become the property of ExcelinEd. Entrants grant ExcelinEd and its partners the right to exhibit, distribute, and otherwise use the entries and names in various media. By submitting an entry, Entrants represent that their entries constitute original work and does not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person.
